Michael Ives is a graphic & typeface designer based in London. He studied graphic design at Leeds College of Art & Design and Cambridge School of Art before gaining an MA in Typeface Design from Reading University in 2005. Since 2006 has worked in London as an in-house designer for a leading international law-firm, and most recently as typographic designer for David James Associates, working on typeface designs for its subsidiary type foundry Alias. He is currently concentrating on personal typeface projects.
